SMS & Messaging Policy

Program description

Roc 3D Printing operates a transactional SMS program for customers who explicitly opt in via our website. We use SMS only to communicate with you about a specific quote, order, or inquiry you have submitted. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS, and we do not import contacts or enroll anyone without their explicit consent.

How to opt in

You can opt in to SMS by checking the SMS consent checkbox on either the quote form or the contact form at the time you submit your inquiry, and providing a valid mobile phone number. The checkbox is unchecked by default. Opt-in is optional — you can submit either form without consenting to SMS.

Message types you'll receive

After opting in, you may receive transactional messages such as: a confirmation that we received your quote or message, status updates on your quote or order, appointment reminders for local pickup, and replies to questions you ask us. Messages are sent only in response to your inquiry — never as cold outreach, never as marketing.

Message frequency, rates, and carriers

Message frequency varies based on the activity on your inquiry or order — typically a few messages per active project. Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan. Carriers (e.g., AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Roc 3D Printing is not responsible for charges from your carrier.

How to opt out (STOP) and get help (HELP)

Reply STOP to any SMS message we send to immediately opt out. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS. To re-enroll later, opt in again on the quote or contact form. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or (585) 620-2688.

Age restriction

Our SMS program is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By opting in, you represent that you are at least 18 and that the mobile number you provide is your own or that you are authorized to receive messages at that number.

Privacy and information sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your phone number, mobile information, or any related opt-in data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are used solely by Roc 3D Printing to communicate with you about your inquiry, quote, or order. Information sharing with subprocessors is limited to what is required to deliver the service you requested (e.g., our SMS delivery provider). Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
